Rev. Trenton Gittens

Trenton Emanuel Gittens became a Christian at the age of 15 years. His early Christian life was spent at Bibby's Lane New Testament Church of God where he grew and developed in the faith. While there, he served as Men's Fellowship President, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and member of the Pastor's Counsel. He was also very active in the Open-Air Ministry.

Over the years, Rev. Gittens has successfully completed his studies in the following areas;

• Barbados Bible College - Diploma in Theology, 18^th June 1985.
• Licensed Minister Certificate on 3^rd, November 1995.
• Church Administration and Management - Diploma on the 15^th July 1997
• A Certificate in Counselling from the Wesleyan Holiness Church - June 2nd, 2001
• Individual Course Studies in the CIMS program under the leadership of Dr Louis Joseph.
• He is currently enrolled in the Firewall Church Planting Training, which is a 4-year program.

Rev. Gittens' first Pastoral appointment was at the Greens New Testament Church of God where he served from March 1998 to September 9th, 2007 (9 ½ years).

He was appointed as Pastor of the Holders Hill New Testament Church of God on Sunday, January 10th, 2010 to present. He also serves as Sunday School Teacher and Life Builders President. He was formerly the Director of the St. James Parish Family Life Ministry, and for a short time served as the St. James Parish Director (Acting).
Rev. Gittens is a qualified Electrician. He is currently employed as a Maintenance Technician with Total Woodworks Inc. and Genesis Construction.
Rev. Gittens has been married for the past 32 years to Lora Gittens and is the proud father of two sons, Antonio and Nathan Gittens.
