The New Testament Church of God (NTCOG) Barbados will soon be turning a new page.
Tomorrow it will host a Consecration and Commissioning Service for its new Administrative Bishop and first lady, Bishop Dr Kenroy Burke and Natalie Burke.
The Caribbean field director Bishop Dr Ishmael Charles, the Caribbean Council and the Membership of the New Testament Church of God, Barbados will meet at the Abundant Life Assembly (ALA) for the special installation service.
The NTCOG Barbados officially celebrated one hundred years of existence in July 2017, with its centennial celebrations running well into this year.
The church was able to trace its origins on the island to 1917, with a few rurally located churches.
One hundred years later, the church now comprises 45 churches across the 11 parishes of Barbados.
NTCOG Barbados is also a member of Church of God, Cleveland Tennessee, which has seven million members in 178 nations.
Burke will officially take over from former Administrative Bishop of the New Testament Church of God Bishop Martin Brewster. (PR/NB)
